I'm 22 YO with a great job in sports, UK. I don't have an undergrad/ bachelors degree and I'm looking to take that step.
My aspirations are to work in finance, Investment Banking, Hedge Funds, PE firms etc.
I have strong connections in the space and feel confident about what the future could look like.
The only discomfort I feel is I would have to leave my current career to pursue education for the next 3-5 years.
Does anyone have any advice here or reassurance?

I highly recommend that you finish getting a degree. Good education always gets an advantage when you want to further your career in the future as well as getting a good deal when it comes to salary negotiations.

Depends on what your goals are , if it’s to make more money then look at the potential earnings in your current role for 5 years time and then make a comparison with the Investment Banking.

I’m 28 now and believe me the time will FLY.

The best advice I ever received was: ask yourself this question, you are 22, how old will you be in five years without the degree. Then say how old will I be in five years with the degree. Answer is the same. Get your degree. You will not regret it if that’s what you want.

I was hoping one of these next certs will help me finally break into a security role and love the idea of pentesting but not sure if the CySA+ is more beneficial.

A question for VCs: I’m currently a VC analyst. I want to eventually come back to the VC industry and perhaps become a partner (if possible). However, there’s an opportunity to work at an Endowment Fund (Harvard/Yale/Stanford level). Would you recommend me to spend the next 3-4 years doing something that’s not directly VC related? Would it be hard for me to come back to the VC industry with this experience? Why or why not? Thank you so much for your time and help!

I am an IT architect with 10 years of experience specifically in Salesforce products. I am thinking of moving from a strategy consulting role to an architecture role in Salesforce (company) itself. I have experience building tech strategies and also technical project delivery.

Wondering if it makes sense to apply for an Enterprise Architect (pre-sales) or a Senior Technical Architect role??

Also in terms of seniority and salary are these roles any different?
