I’m a staff accountant with 3.5 years of experience. I want career in fraud risk management, and Internal Audit looks like a good next move.

However, I’m concerned my experience isn’t going to help me cross over into audit.

To re-orient my career path, I’ve studied for the CFE exam and have all 4 tests scheduled. I also plan to sit for the Certified Internal Auditor exam in 2025.

I’m a second year associate at a small, but reputable firm. My caseload is almost entirely made up of clients who were referred to one of the partners but the partners are too busy so I end up taking the case.
