Vibes are bad. Morale is low, no one is getting raises or promotions, and it’s lame. Everyone hates Omnicom. If Publicis knows what’s good for them, they’ll match whatever Omnicom is offering you. Don’t come here.
To be honest, even teams that normally have higher moral are getting frustrated. Last year first time our Christmas- new years break was not given, and likely will be the same this year. Summer Fridays were cut last year too and they waited until after memorial day to announce them, a nightmare for scheduling and planning with PTO.
That said, there are still some good teams. But even those are being felt by the lack of communication during these benefits cuts

Depends on the agency, but the benefits at most now-Omnicom agencies got measurably worse from the merger, and most also have gone through recent (and ongoing layoffs)

Yeah, don’t. I don’t know what OMC’s plan was, but it’s clear they were dying, acquired a healthier holding company hoping they could absorb their profits, and now they’re pulling everyone down. It’s bleak, and it goes way beyond poor 401k matching or PTO.
How many people need to yell “Don’t come over here, there’s quicksand! You’ll get trapped like all of us!”?

I heard publicis is on a hiring freeze, but for whatever reason keep reposting the same jobs. I applied to two roles and still havent heard back
Vibes are atrocious.
I was told by a former IPG employee that after Omnicom acquired, they felt immediate pains from it. I was just there for a bit and also see how culture is affected. The vibe doesn’t bode well.
Omnicom was shit when I left during COVID and is even more shit now. Their entire goal is to take entry level folks and grind their souls out while giving as little as they can back. I know all hold cos do this in some capacity; but Omnicom is the absolute worst of all the big ones regardless of your title or how long you’ve worked there. For example, they had me on an account in an entry level position with open roles two positions above me for months, doing the work of a sr associate and supervisor. That was the norm.
Arrogant, hostile, self-absorbed leadership.
