I’m currently exploring how to pivot into creative direction, leading creatives on a social team.

Looking for any advice on how to transition into creative direction and what kind of skills I should be sharpening.

Also looking for help understanding the “hierarchy” of creative direction. If my research is correct, the lowest level of the “Creative Director Hierarchy” would be an Associate Creative Director? Reporting into someone more senior?

If so, I think that’s the title I’m aiming for!

I am new to EY. What is EY GDS promotion policy in general?
Where can we get those details to check the required and expected things to go the next level?
How many levels in Staff? What is the min YOE is required to be a Senior?
How many months/years minimum we need to spend to be eligible for promotion (ex: minimum 1 year a person need to spend on one grade like that)

I know someone who changes their job every 1.5 years (3 jobs in 4 years) but has no issues getting the next one. How isn’t this a hindrance in landing so many roles?

My employer has a sponsorship program that the CFA qualifies for. They sponsor 100% but only after 6 months of full-time permanent employment; thus I will qualify in may 2023 (I just started). I just asked a creative to include more pictures of Afro-Latinos in our hispanic messaging and she said "I tried to find pictures of videos that looked authentic but they didn't have the right look, it's a very specific look".
