Had been working as a BA/PM role at a financial firm for 3.5 years and decided to leave corporate to join my family’s small business with the mentality I’d take things over. It’s been a little over a year and I’ve come to the realization that it’s not for me. What certifications are good for technical project manager? I was thinking to start with PSM and PSPO and then move to ITIL, ITSM. Not sure about this though. Not planning to do PMP as I think it’s more waterfall focused. Was also thinking about AWS. Any other certifications recommended?

Having an animal friend with cancer is not something easy. This year I have already had 24 animals that went to sleep in order to stop suffering. This is not easy for their families at all. It seems to me that the cancer stats in domestic animals are increasing, is this just me?

I get that money is tight. But if you deny all diagnostic tests, please don’t get mad at me when we can’t figure out what’s wrong. Those tests are there for a reason.

Hello everyone! So my dream job is to work at a veterinary office and I wasn’t able to go to college for it due to my financial issues and I still have that issue. I wanna get my foot in the door of any vet office I live in Maryland and I will start out as anything I just don’t know where to start. I have lots of experience with customer service and I love love love pets! I have Pets of my own and they are my world.

How do you address pay discrepancies? I just found out a VT hired a year after me, with less experience, is making $2 more an hour. She was hired when they were desperate for staff which I’m guessing is why, but I’ve felt bitter ever since finding out.

By and large it seems like women are more likely to pursue veterinary medicine as a career, anyone have an idea why?
