Hello people, how common is a Amazon to PWC move ?
I’m interviewing for a Senior Associate role and TC seems to be more competitive than role in L5.
TC $114k- Base AMZ- $73k +$38kstocks ( vesting 17k$ due next year)
TC $135k Base PWC -$81$ + Bonuses ( 50k$)
Looking for managerial skills which the PWC role avails, and L6 promo doesn’t seem to be happening soon in current role. I’m also mentally stretched. I hear WLB in PWC is just as busy but can anyone confirm if this move makes any sense. Google Amazon

Hello,
Thank you for sharing your situation. With your experience in construction management and as a Project Engineer, plus your Business Administration degree, you already have strong transferable skills, client communication, stakeholder management, budgeting, and project delivery, all of which are highly relevant to business development and account management. Framing your experience around client relationships, negotiations, and revenue impact can help bridge the “no direct sales experience” gap.
When I was making a similar transition, the career team at alfredpetersonhiringteam/gmail/com helped me position my background effectively, which ultimately helped me secure my role as a flight instructor. Connecting with them could give you practical strategies for breaking into business development roles.
Stay confident, your experience already aligns more than you think, and the right opportunity will come!
I am interested in this job, what is like
Did you have any experience about this before??
I have the opposite. I have executive level BD experience and have spent a ton of time in the field on job sites as a construction observer overseeing projects and project management experience, but my title has always been BD, so I am often overlooked for PM roles in commercial construction, when some PMs I know say that i am probably overqualified.
