I’m paying $1600 a mos for my benefits and that’s with a $9k family deductible. Is that what you are paying too?

My health insurance is 100% covered. We pay about $200 a month for my husband and two kids.

like

its $700 per month for bronze plan for just my wife and I and we're only late 30s. Healthy and considering paying the penalty and buying a hospital indemnity policy just in case.

Health insurance is out of sight these days. Easily 20k a year when you factor in deductibles and maxing hsa

$500 a month which includes dental and vision. $5,000 family deductible

On my wife's insurance and she works for a healthcare company so our insurance is amazing. EDJ options are not cheap.

800 a month for my family. $6,500 deductible and I fund my HSA with another 600 bucks a month.

Employee - 80/20 BC/BS family of 4 - $1,500 deductible - $674/mo

Isn’t the penalty like 600$ or 3% of income so you can’t just not have insurance as the penalty is outrageous (3% of income). I’d end up paying way more in that situation.

I was paying $1350/mo with a $13k family deductible. Moving to a company with benefits was a factor when I switched

the penalty is 2.5% AGI no cap in 2018.

Ah sorry, 2.5%, thanks. That still ends up being much more than the insurance premium. Crazy.

Wow

650 for wife, daughter, and myself at Jones. (I get certain discounts for being fairly healthy)

Deductible is 6500. Forgot to mention that.

$228 per month $3000 deductible.

Hello folks,

I am new to fishbowl and recently got an offer from Publicis Sapient for a senior associate. They are offering $136k with unlimited pto benefits. As I am from the industry and haven't heard about this company before, I would like some comments or thoughts about working for this company? How do they invest in their employees (like pay raise, promotions, etc)?

I work in a sucky IBM cic, making $54k. It’s a full time job with regular benefits and vacation etc, it’s working with government clients. The job isn’t what I applied for & constantly changes. I don’t like that, but I’m a full time employee which is “stable employment”. Btw, I’m in the DC area.

I just got hired for a government contract through Accenture for a Business Analyst role. Pay is $65 per hour. 3 year contract. Benefits too. No PTO. Holidays off with pay, after 90 days.

Thoughts?

I’ve been practicing in traditional labor for about two years now (although about a decade of labor relations experience) but I’m trying to break into employee benefits law. Unfortunately I’m not being given much experience in benefits as I’m pretty typecast as a labor atty. Any advice on how I can go about getting employee benefit experience? My long term goal is to have benefits be my main area of practice.
