I’m seeking to move my career into SaaS such as a solutions engineer or Sales Engineer. I have been working in biotech for 2 yrs in engineering, as well as Ops Specialist. I really want to work remotely as it something I enjoy plus I have medical reasons for WFH. I work in the lab and I’m working on getting certification in Software sales. I really want to work in Tech SaaS Sales. What are tips to further improve my chances in SaaS, solutions/sale engineer?

Which is the more lucrative and flexible long term career path when comparing .NET development vs salesforce development.

I’ve been with my current company for a little over 5 years now and since the start of the pandemic have been WFH. I absolutely love WFH and have always wanted a position in which I could WFH. There is talk of bringing everyone back to the office full time and that’s not what I would like to happen. I’ve been searching for a new position in which it would be a remote role.
