Hello All, I have offer in hand of 27.5 LPA+15% variable from ZS Associates as a BT Solutions delivery consultant and now my current company is ready to retain me by matching the offer & assuring that they will send me onsite to UK in couple of months. Now I am in a dilemma of what to do as I have been looking for onsite opportunities for my entire career so far. Kindly share your thoughts. Can Slalom rescind a job offer in aug 2022?
I just got an offer from Accenture Switzerland, Total Comp 170K with 140K base. I have 6YOE as IT consultant and 9YOE in total. I am just upset that they did not offer me a relocation package of 20k because the cost of living in Zurich for a family with 1 child is crazy! Should I insist for a sign on bonus before accepting the offer?

No suggestions, but here are some questions I might ask myself if I was in your situation:
“Which position do I think best supports the kind of work/life balance I need?”
“Where do I think I will feel most safe taking risks and trying new ideas? Where do I think occasional failure is tolerated if it’s a stepping stone towards long-term success?”
“Which job has more potential for me to take initiative on assignments, rather than everything getting handed down to me by my boss?”
“Where am I more likely to be encouraged to voice my honest views and opinions?”
Those are some of the questions I would be asking myself because those are the kinds of factors I’ve found contribute the most to my long-term satisfaction and career growth. I hope some of them help!
Have you looked through their Glassdoor reviews? At Apple, I’ve heard product managers are part of marketing instead of Engineering. These are the things I would think through - what the culture is like, and is it what I want.
