I'm trying to decide if changing career path is what I need to fight the burn out. I don't have a degree, but I do have 10 years of accounts receivable experience. I really enjoy billing, cash application and reconcilation, but I have grown tired of the collections side. It seems finding an AR related position that doesn't include collections is next to impossible! I'm not sure what else I can do with the experience I have. Any advise would be greatly appreciated!

Look for smaller/local companies that need a bookkeeper / office manager. Put on your resume objective that you "have 10 years of AR experience, looking to diversify/expand your experience in accounting." That good mix of other roles makes it so much more bearable! I have a business management degree with 10 years of on-the-job learning/experience in accounting, besides my couple of accounting classes that were required for school. My favorite roles were when I was a bookkeeper / office manager, compared to when I was just accounts payable for a bigger company. If you don't already have QuickBooks Online experience, create a QuickBooks accountant account and start training for free to be a QuickBooks proadvisor. It will get you familiar with the rest of the bookkeeping roles. Just be honest with yourself and transparent to prospective employers if you're looking to learn. Perhaps start as administrative assistant just to get familiar with those roles.

It’s simple: add your pets. Invite people who help with their care (family, friends, professionals). Build a care plan. Track and share updates/pics/docs/etc.
