I can help. I'm career advisory and job search (recruitment) for our (Salesforce) space.
Track, by (1) reputation, (2) employment experience, and more, the top 641 Salesforce Consulting and Agency Partners in North America. Tier I's like Accenture, Tier II's like West Monroe Partners, and Tier III/IVs like GearsCRM.
We update our data every quarter.
Wouldn't say I'm an expert, but could give...sensible recommendations for which Partners might be worth interviewing with and why.
DM me if you would like my help.
GearsCRM was recently acquired and merged with PixelMedia and Docmation…they’re now RafterOne
Capgemini. You can be the bigger fish in a smaller pond (aka pick your projects and roles)
Deloitte if you’re looking for more strategic/exciting projects
I don’t know if we’ll hit that level, but plenty of partners want us to. On my current project, the client doesn’t want us to be on site at all apart from a couple of workshops.
In spite of that, my entire client account team has been forced to all “collocate” in a Deloitte office rotating randomly around the country. This is a large client with over 200 consultants spread across it, so that’s a pretty fucking absurd expense and carbon footprint for us to meet in a Deloitte office every 3 weeks just for the hell of it.
I’m in the same boat
Like OP I really liked it last year then we had a reorg beginning of year all got new managers some are managers for the first time and finding it difficult to have my manager advocate for me. Also been on the bench for several weeks was supposed to be on a project but someone from strategy team took the role instead. Lots of political shadiness in leadership
Deloitte
Not sure any of the above are smaller than CSG…
How are projects allocated? Were you put in a project out of your comfort zone? What are you missing now Vs the prev team? Appreciate details
Check out the open positions at Steampunk and let me know if you want a referral. Most positions are fully remote with no travel. We’re small compared to SF but still have plenty $10m/yr+ projects.
