There are lot of mixed reviews about Nagarro.. some folks are saying Nagarro do not fire even in covid the only did the pay cuts and did not fire anyone... where as some folks are saying Nagarro is hiring rigorously more than their projects strength so firing will happen for sure and if you are on bench for more than 1 month you are in red zone as the same happened in past... what is the mystery.. can anyone from Nagarro an honest review about this organization.

Pretty damn good comparatively.
First job at 22 being ~$80k, you're already nearly twice the median household income and nearly 3 times the median individual income
Experience translates to almost anything
A lot of entitlement among the ranks in the bubble
It's definitely not perfect, and I'm planning to exit sooner or later, but objectively, without the blinders on, it is a good job out of undergrad
BA1 is just entitled and privileged. Most of the large firms are good to have on your resume.
Unless you are specialized in something, they are probably the best option for an entry level job
I entered consulting from industry.
Pro: Entered the workforce not in consulting and the one thing I’ll say is I did not have as many smart and capable people to work with or look up to as I do here in consulting.
Con: industry entry level job is usually an 8 hour day. In consulting I’ve seen plenty of associates and seniors work 12 hour days regularly.
They don’t know yet how to say “no” and I think in industry they wouldn’t be asked to do as much.
On Salaries - I worked in industry and entered consulting and was paid less in industry at start but at senior consultant level I was making about the same as B4. At engagement manager level I was making more in industry. I was not in financial services.
Titles - consulting moves much quicker I think in B4, if you are in the top 1 percent of performers.
Career: Working with so many smart people has downsides - in industry if you’re not at FAANG the number of smart people at an organization is probably 10 percent.
In consulting that number is like 90 percent. Harder to stand out and shine to get those promos when everyone is just amazing or more amazing than you.
I also entered consulting from industry and I will say that my experience in industry overall was better than my experience here.
I received more mentorship and guidance than I do now. People were willing to help me out and explain things. I also had a chance to take on more responsibilities and interact with the business given that my managers liked the work i did.
In consulting, your put into a box where it’s a a cookie cutter approach. People drink the kool aid too much and aren’t willing to listen to what you have to say. You’re just a machine like everyone else and as long you’re billing hours that’s all that matters. You aren’t valued and respected as an individual. That’s just been my experience and opinion so to sum it up, it depends.
Rising Star
I've been pretty impressed with the experience and exposure new associates get. I joined at manager level (post-MBA with industry experience) and was blown away by how quickly 22 year olds are encouraged to present their work to senior executives.
Mentorship and on-the-job training is REALLY valuable. You get the breadth of exposure you can't get at large companies in industry (startups / small companies can allow you to overwork yourself and "wear many hats").
The opportunity to brainstorm with senior executives is hard to come by. I'd encourage anybody interested in a career in business to start our firm.
