Cg has offered to match upto 23.5 lakhs.. Is it worth moving to TCS on this grade? My primary reason for moving out of Cg is i m bored of beauocracy and WLB at current project. Is it a good idea to still switch with the counter offer from Cg Capgemini Tata Consu

And at that, Having made a lateral move from another big4 and can attest that “managers” have responsibilities we expect of SC on my previous firm. I got zero WLB, but very good offer $$

Senior associate at kpmg is probably the most misleading level. You can have people that are 2 years from undergrad making $70k or you can have post MBAs that are 2-3 years in making $170k+
Pro
Probably 130-210. The reason SA is so misleading is that you can exit into industry at the director or VP role at the top end of the experienced top 15 MBA range, while other fresh SAs would exit into Associate roles in industry.

KPMG tends to pay less than other B4 but more than the boutique/smaller firms. Work balance and corporate culture definitely best of B4 although, as normal, your mileage will vary based on service network and team. In 12 years at KPMG I've had only one "pretty bad" team and one "toxic" team. I have had many great teams.

The guy above is correct on the progression - typically SAs are doing the work in a senior capacity and/or actually leading teams and reporting up into a manager. Your work life will entirely depend on team, project, manager and then director/partner

Does KPMG recognize any other masters degrees other than MBA? For context - if someone had 2 years consulting, 6 industry and a Masters degree relevant to the job posting /group - what’s the salary range
Chief
You’d probably be an SA unless you made a good case for m. So anything from 70-145ish. Outliers are possible but that’s the range I usually see
Pro
I've really enjoyed my teams and WLB here.
