Anyone recently received a tax manager offer from EY ? I’m going through final interviews and want to see what your experience was like (negotiation process, initial offer higher/lower than expected?, did you give them a salary expectation range? How long did it take from final interview to offer etc) TIA!PwC EY KPMG Deloitte

Speak only when spoken to. Do not make eye contact. Eat garlic during he interview. Wear at least two hats. End every sentence with a giggle. You should be good.
Well, that would be like any other interaction with a person you're interested in receiving something from or gaining their favor. Take cues from their behavior and energy. Do not interrupt them while they talk. They might interrupt you if you talk too much. Good senior people are usually good at getting the point faster + are usually too busy to listen to long drawn stuff and will take charge of interrupting themselves. So if you know you're verbose, just be cognizant of that as you already are and try to be concise.
Digitas1- you forgot to mention wearing diapers
Don't forget to let us know how it went!!! Good luck
Thanks guys i'll load up on the garlic and giggles
In a special twist of events, I was interviewed, hired, and reported to CEO directly at last job. Be prepared like any other interview and be normal/not timid.
Great advice AD1
Nothing really, just your level of questions
Also, just be yourself. Be personable and be prepared. Nothing to worry about.
Thanks AD1 - I'm not worried about being timid - i am generally quite verbose - which worries me as some people really take to it whereas others do not
I've met your CEO. Tall French guy? He's great. Personable and really listens. Seems genuinely interested in what other people has to say. Ask things that you are genuinely curious about re: the work and his experience. Don't be intimidated but yea, be succinct with your points. And don't be shy to tell him what you know, which must be decent given the opportunity. Take it as an opportunity to learn.
Thanks starcom 1 - great advice
