You may have a nickel allergy!
I’m that way with earrings! I can’t wear cheap metals. Maybe you are overall allergic to whatever the metal is and it’s hugging your right arm differently / more tightly?
My mom is like that! Good on one side but a hard pass on the other.
Yep it happens - I have one side that always flares up and the other one is relatively fine...t's really weird haha but glad I'm not the only one!
I've heard of people breaking out from jewelry, usually from a nickel allergy. But how wild that it's only on one side!! It sounds like you're not alone, but wow! I never realized that was even possible.
The problem is with my ears. I always have a problem wearing earrings on my right ear because they always each and turn red. With the other, I'm fine.
What type of jewelry do you put on? If it contains nickel, then I guess that material has been causing the allergic reaction.
It happens. Not every part of our bodies reacts the same way. Whenever I get an allergic reaction from the food I ate, It's usually just around my tummy. But if it's a jewelry allergy, I just rash up around my arms.
Have you tried hypoallergenic jewelry? If yes, did you find it working for you? I want to switch to hypoallergenic jewelry but options are limited.
I don't have this problem but I absolutely cannot wear a bracelet on my right wrist. It feels off for some reason even though I have always been right-handed.
How is that even possible to develop a rash on one arm and not the other. Maybe your left arm has just grown accustomed to the metals in your bracelet that it no longer has a negative reaction upon contact. What do I know though? lol
