For all you retail people...are you experiencing a very slow holiday season? I am a retail manager and I feel like this season has been freakishly slow. I thought we would at least match last year's number or be up a little bit but we are trending down. I talked to employees of other stores in the mall and they are saying the same thing. Is anyone else experiencing this in their market?

What are some easy to make, low stress holiday meals for a school holiday staff party? I was "volunteered" by our principal to set it up this year (🙄). I'm making decorated sugar cookies but kind of drawing a blank when it comes to savory dishes. Bonus points if you have any adult holiday themed games or fun drinks to suggest! It's off school property and there will be a bar (thank god), for context.

Love how BS credit score is. Got my score up to 800 last month only to go on vacation so my credit utilization went up to 8% due to the increased spending and my score dropped 35 points because I didn’t immediately pay the balance after charging the purchases. I’m struggling. I left an agency I liked last year due to growth limitations and since then I’ve worked at 2 different agencies and can’t seem to find my footing. Change my mind: the talk around things shifting to a 'new normal' is overblown. Society's collective conscience is too short-term to enact massive changes to things we are comfortable (e.g., global warming). Yes, it will take awhile for offices to open back up, flights to be full, etc., but within 1-2 years things willbe mostly back to what they are like now and this massive structural shift will have never materialized.
