Are exit polls if CRT out? 😂
Hi IBM
I have joining this month end, but my people HR hasn't disclose any information regarding project, role, tech stack, etc. I have requested her to schedule a call with project manager but She says she doesn't have visibility about my project in the portal but definitely there is a project allocated to me already.
Does it mean that I am being hired for bench & will have to find a project after joining IBM? If yes, how are the client interviews for java full stack developer- band 07B?IBM

READY TO WORK!!!!!!

Hi Fishes, Today I was sending my payslips and form 16 to my personal email id as my lwd is just 10 days away. However, I received a mail stating the same is blocked and asked for justification. Could someone please answer whether it is legal to send the same from cognizant id to personal id. And will the IT team release my mail if I give them this justification that these are personal materials which would be required by me? Cognizant
It's a nice skill to bring to the table, but not enough as a standalone platform.
Yes. Particularly in large corporations.
Absolutely, we have an entire practice (T&OP) around this and usually represents 25% of my fees on a large global transformation program.
CM is such an ambiguous term, I'd focus on identifying your personal niche and leverage that to "brand" yourself. At a tactical level CM can be focused on training / learning dev. and comms. At a strategic level it can be org transformation / design, leadership dev., etc. All of these have their place in industry and can be high demand if properly branded.
To add, he's not HR. He knows business and daily work inside out.
Yes, especially with the changing populations of millennials and the shifting out of the aging work force then globalization. You need people who understand the people issues from a business perspective.
Yes, but it's not a high demand one
Yes - I used to work in industry for a Fortune 50 company, and we had a few people in HR that focused on change management. But best to broaden your skill set with complimentary Human Capital skills.
That skill with a lean six sigma black belt would be stronger
Yes
You're going to have to be in an IT shop of >500, to have a dedicated CM role
I'm curious about this as well, does change management always translate to HR in industry?
No, it can be in IT as well. HR is more focused on organizational change and IT more system implementation
Yes, it's an increasingly valued skill set and no, it doesn't always translate to HR. I have a few clients who are adding CM roles within their strategy/execution functions.
In my last job, my team was under reorg. CRO brought in a guy who had done this for at least four large teams. He is famous in the CRO org for this. So it can be an FTE function but very rare.
