Probably not. Their perks are travel based and we ain’t doin much traveling.

You should probably follow up on what they have been doing then. Right now it's been an excellent card for me.

Yes, Sr!

There are definitely credit cards where you can get more cash back considering the current travel environment. I used fidelity visa cause it’s 2% back into my brokerage account so I can reinvest. But that would only work if you have a fidelity account. Not sure if other financial services companies do that

Yeah agreed it can be limiting if you don’t want to invest it. I personally prefer to an like the fact that I get unlimited cash back but it’s not worth it if you want the cash now

Like everything else, it depends on your needs. I'm not spending much these days, so I couldn't justify the annual fee. If the perks outweigh the fee for you, then it's a great card. Only you would know how it stacks up against your short term (COVID) needs and longer term (new normal) needs.

Okay finance gurus, I have an idea and interested in your thoughts. Might be a bad one so be gentle 🙂. I have a 2 yr old and another on the way. Need to start planning for college. I was thinking of buying a condo or 2 in lieu of saving and selling them down the line for tuition. Condos downtown are pretty inexpensive (T3) so it’s financially feasible. But is this a good idea or too risky?

Hello fishes. Need some insurance advice.
My parents are dependent on me. My 62 yo dad and 57yo mom do some part time work and makes $1000/mon. Dad has some health complications like diabetes, high bp, genetic heart issues, liver problems etc. Does it make sense to get a life insurance for him - 20 yr term, $1M coverage. Premium is around $500. I am thinking I can pay the premium but if something happens to dad, it will help my mom pay be self-sufficient
