Moving to atl- what are typical 1x1 rent prices?
Hi all,
I’m looking to relocate to Seattle. Does anyone know if any of the Big 4 are still recruiting campus hires to start in Summer/Fall 2023? I’m open to either Audit or Tax, but I have internship experience in Tax.
I applied and received an offer at a Big 4 in San Francisco (campus hire), but I’ve decided Seattle is the better fit for me as it will be closer to my hometown and family in Vancouver.
Thanks!

^ To SM’s point, I’d pitch it that you want to work on life sciences and get IPO experience, versus enjoying the surf and sun 😉
It’s a small office. Bet they could use more seniors. Plus, they just completely remodeled lol
OP- you got it. It’s worst than you expect. See what happened for those ones who requested to take time off due to personal emergency situations. Also recommend to check retention rate. That’s all I can say.
Why do you want to transfer there? You should start by explaining to your manager/counselor your reasons for wanting to transfer and then they can help facilitate a conversation with your partner. Then your partner discusses with that office to determine if they need someone with your experience/skill set.
I wouldnt recommend SD office. Talk to the people who works there first before you make a decision. And you’re welcome.
EY4 would you mind sharing the reason of not recommending SD office? Is the work life balance particularly bad?
SD is wonderful and yes we need seniors due to the high turnover. SD job market is great this year and so we lost some good seniors. Reach out to a partner in SD and they'll help accelerate the transfer if you're a good performer at your home office.
Don't know if sd is good or not, but it's usually hard to transfer before you become a senior.
Thanks EY 1. I’m about to be senior 2
What SL?
Assurance
All offices need S2s
EY6 - you’re not addressing EY4’s comment which seem legitimate...
^ Honestly I'm a senior1 and I have no clue what EY4 is talking about. It's vague. My staff just took a personal leave and everyone was supportive of her needs. I would address anything that's clear enough!
I doubt EY4 is even part of SD office.
