Is it possible to become a project manager in industry after a year in the analyst role (HC) at Deloitte?

All of my projects have utilized an agile approach, and I have taken classes/trainings recognized by PMI.

My long term goal is to become a program manager, so I want to start at the project level.

Any tips? Or places that hire PMs without the title of “project manager”?

I am having 2.5 years experience in the IT sector on vision plus as a software engineer (before joining the bank). One of the reasons I want to transition from industry to consulting (tier 1) is that I get frustrated when I have to collaborate with mediocre people. My assumption is that Tier 1 consulting firms hire really sharp people and if I can get in, I’ll be collaborating with folks on top of their game (not expecting much from clients).
