What will the project dynamics be on a project staffed with 3mdps, a PL, and myself, a summer UG intern? Just got staffed and will be hearing more on Monday from the team, but it came across as an interesting staffing composition.
Have the feeling I'll be making quite a few slides as the only junior. Anyone staffed on a similar case composition?

Guys there’s this boot camp that I came across that trains people to get jobs in Top consulting firms and has a fee plan wherein you pay once you get placed. I just wanted to know if someone here has any experience with this ?

Deloitte’s post deal M&A practice is a glorified body shop (like a lot of Deloitte). So you should be able to get in just based on your current experience and interest. Check our website for openings in your desired level and city and I’d be happy to refer you
Start networking your ass off. No one teaches M&A. It's all tradecraft.
When I was at PwC they have an internal training for it, but that's all I've ever seen.
What sort of due diligence? On the commercial side you don't need any knowledge if you are fairly junior. If you are looking to do FDD work then you likely need a CPA or will at some point.
Can confirm that for FDD you have to either have a CPA already or be CPA eligible
I did it at EY - a lot of networking, high reviews for multiple years, and somebody willing to take a chance on you
@EY1 are you now in TAS or a subgroup of TAS?
At junior levels, yes - absolutely possible. As one gets more senior, you generally need some experience as the pace and dynamics are just a little different than other engagements and we need folks who can hit the ground running and plug into deals immediately. Do some proposal work, etc. to get your foot in the door. Books are fine, but actual deal work is what we’ll want to see.
Why did you say it was a bodyshop @d1?
