Mo got a CPA to be in alignment with the fact that he was moving up in an accounting firm. I just think that if you have an accounting degree it’s worth having the credential.

Yes definitely. Sounds like you're in risk advisory, which is much more audit than advisory tbh. A CPA will be huge for your future progression.
I recommend it if you can. I myself am an Accounting Manager, soon to be Regional Accounting Manager without one, however I know that it is highly sought after outside of my company. You may have to fight harder for a position without it. I would get one myself if I were not already pre-occupied as a single mom.
