Definitely not a stress puppy.

Hi All! I hope you guys are staying safe and healthy.
I am hosting a free workshop for teachers that I thought might benefit you. The workshop is called From Unsettled to Prepared Classroom. I am giving you the tools you need to feel organized and ready for this upcoming school year. There is so much that is still uncertain and it can be super daunting to start to plan for a year like this one.

Maybe for your first sales job ever. Anyone can get a job there - I mean that absolutely no offense at all.
You aren’t wrong at all boss
Not sure honestly. I'd sleep on it. 😅
But for real, I hear people really sleep on that sales position.... 🥁
Just don't get a TEMPUR---pedic
My favorite is “I need to sleep on it” and my answer always is “we’re not selling mattresses” so the puns are 🔥
It can be a good start to a career. Sales experience, experience in the bedding industry which can lead to more lucrative sales positions in the future and make connections in that field. You can also move up and use it to get some lead/management experience but in my experience they change management often so it would likely be more of a resume builder than long term.
My nephew use to work there. You can absolutely half ass shifts and work 2 hours out of an 8 hour day and make like 70-75k a year. Just capitalize on every opportunity. Unfortunately though there isnt much room for growth.
I work in pharmaceuticals and a new coworker of mine came from medical device. He was selling hospital beds making $200k+ a year… you never know where it could lead you!
It really depends on what you want to get out of the job/company, but happy to give you an insiders perspective if you want to chat.
I have a friend that’s consistently making 6 figures there.
Why not? If it's to gain experience then any sales job will do. Do you have any other options? But I'd rather work on the sales department of construction firms.
May I ask why? I sell manufactured homes and am considering changing industries. I have no construction experience but it’s an industry I find interesting (all manufacturing, construction or home improvement interests me), and I see jobs like these posted frequently.
