Ten hour exam, roughly 550 topics, maybe 55% pass rate. Yeah it’s tough but very worth it

like

Yes it was tough, but took a crash course for the final. Guys name was Brett Danko. He was a rockstar and followed his advice to a T and passed first time. It was yrs ago but I think he still does the prep courses

like

Yes, he laid out what topics to focus on. He gives you an outline and a study plan. If you follow you should pass. He is super entertaining as well.

Wondering the same thing.

Currently a Wealth Advisor for Citi but I honestly hate it here with a passion it’s the worst company I’ve ever worked for in my life and I’ve been in Wealth Management in the banking channel for over a decade. Series 7, Series 63, Life, CFP, ChFC, and soon to have my MBA with a focus in Mergers & Acquisitions. I’m look to enter another area of Finance at this point instead of starting over somewhere else from scratch, but not sure what direction to go. Interested in Investment Banking or M&A.

Looking to grow my practice by acquisition I am CFP,CPA,MBA located in Central PA. Please let me know if you are interested in talking about your succession plan. Thanks!!

I’m a CFP® and work as a test engineer for financial planning software. I’m pretty new to the tech space, and wondering what jobs might be out there in the fintech space as I gain more software knowledge. It’s kind of niche working in financial planning software as my background is financial planning. What kind of jobs are out there that might translate well and would have good earning potential?

CFP study programs:

I'm a little confused on Danko - does he offer a self-study option for the coursework requirement? On his website it looks like each module has a 4-day virtual class which I wouldn't be able to attend due to working full time. Does this program also include self-study material, and the classes are just supplementary/optional? I was also looking at Dalton for self-study and Danko for test prep. Thoughts?

TIA
