Is the per diem at Accenture higher for managers? I don’t want to have to try to eat off of $25/day…

This is why I’m glad we’re on actuals. If I’m away from home and working long hours I’m not going to do the mental gymnastics to find healthy food for extreme low cost.

That’s insanely low wtf

Welcome to public company

D is fine, because travel will reduced.

like

Lmao just use your own money for anything leftover

like

EY2 that is the actual purpose of per diem - to append your “usual” budget because you were inconvenience due to traveling, instead of preparing food at home, so you got it right!

Per diems are the same across all levels, unfortunately. When are you joining Accenture?

like

Per diem is better - I’d rather have cash added to my account when I eat healthily on the road. It’s actually like 50-60 per day any savings you get. Not to mention team dinners and boondoggles are expensed differently

like

We do $67 last I checked here in Aus...

like

back to traveling?

Where is your project? Thailand?

If you’re staffed in Poland or Slovenia that should cover three squares a day…

Getting GSA per diem at GT is better than whatever arbitrarily low amount provided elsewhere.

My wife makes 112k and I make 70k in NYC. She plans to go to law school in 18 months. She is very smart and so I believe she will get a scholarship. But assuming worst case scenario, we will take on debt to pay tuition (180k). My question is should we still fund our Roth 401k this year as we have in the past or stop funding it to save for Law school to decrease student loans? I believe post law school she will make 200k (big law) and I should be at around 100k.

Been at Facebook for a month in a BizOps role. However, I just got a (very delayed) offer to be a Marvel product manager at Disney Streaming. Love facebook but my end goal is product management and it looks near impossible to switch internally since I’m in one of their HQ offices and most of the roles are sales. Should I switch? Comp is 30k less at DSS and not as good benefits, I’d burn a bridge, and I’m happy at FB but scared of losing a good opp

BIPOC who started working in healthcare advertising and eventually were able to leave, how’d you do it? My spec book gets me interviews for junior and mid copywriter positions, but when they ask me what kind of work I’m doing at my current agency, the whole conversation goes south. They either become immediately disinterested, or beam up and suddenly the interview is only about an open pharma role, which is more frustrating because if I want to stay in health I’d go for copy supervisor roles.

I only applied and was accepted to one deferred MBA program (Darden) my senior year. It comes with a $30k scholarship, but at this point I only find an MBA to be worth it if it’s mostly covered. I have a 710 gmat that’s good for a couple more years, is it worth retaking to see if I could be eligible for more scholarships? At that point, should I just apply to more schools if I retake?
