Hi - I have donations given to Team Everest for Nov 2021 with receipt. But IBM AskHR says no support for donations tax exemption on Form 16. Thus, the donation isn't deducted on my Form 16. Can I now update the donation directly on E-filing.gov u/s 80G for exemption or will that cause an issue ? IBM

I find the app to be great and the automation of my investments helps with the inertia of more manually / actively investing. Whether that’s “worth” the fees (vs a free vanguard account, let’s say) is entirely up to you.
My simple advice is open a Vanguard account, find a balanced fund that fits your needs, set up auto investments, and you're golden. Cost = $0 and you'll likely have no material differences in performance.
I like their investment tracking the most
I used it. It’s fine but I found the robot too conservative and have performed better managing my own portfolio
Just FYI - it builds a balanced portfolio based on risk profile — including international, natural resources, etc.
so yes, of course as of late a 100% US equities portfolio has out gained. Doesn’t mean it’s “bad”, just a different portfolio.
Believe you can preview their recommended portfolios and see if that works for you.
In general, it’s a very simple set and forget, can setup auto deposits, will reinvest dividends, and even tax loss harvest

Wealthfront is reasonable, but why use it? They don't have funds of their own. They are still going to use Vanguard, Blackrock, Schwab, Fidelity funds. Why not open accounts directly with the fund issuer/brokerage?
I had a couple grand in wealthfront but moved all of it out this year because long term the fees don’t make sense.
Yep the returns too. Figured I’m better off sticking with my vanguard ETFs.
I use wealthfront. However, I don’t know if it is any better or worse then others.
I don’t think I will use forever though
I’ve had it for several years and like it, but this thread is making me consider if it’s time to move my money. TBD. 😂
I had it - got out - came back. Good if you care about tax loss harvesting and obviously a nice interface. I tried betterment as well - it sucks! Especially when I wanted to transfer my holdings I had to liquidate as they didn’t allow transfer (betterment)
