IT Audit folks: Besides CISA, what other certificates have you taken and what benefits you've seen so far after getting them? (I can't take the CPA due to the 150-cr requirement)

Passed both, working on studying for CISSP now. PwC will pay for any 'relevant' test once so I'm planning to get as many certs as I can while I'm here. Other than making me eligible for promotion and future resume boost I'm not sure what other benefits you mean.

like

What state do you live in? You may be able to sit for the CPA and do the additional credits once you pass.

If you can pass the CISA you can pass the CISM, it is the same content, the questions are just worded differently.

AS1 - I don't think I can ever take the CPA since that sounds way too horrendous to sit through 4 exams, i.e. FB posts in the past couple of days... plus my goal is not to go into Internal Audit or anything related to that if I ever leave PA

PwC2 - that's on my to-do list, have you passed the exam yet? How's that benefiting so far?

CIA

Is the CISSP more security related?

I currently work at a medium sized firm and have about two years experience in personal injury litigation. My parents are currently refinancing their home and because they are close to retirement and have a smaller income, I'm planning to take out the mortgage under my name (won't be listed as the property owner). Would I still be able to get the benefits of being a first home buyer when that time comes? Or will the mortgage disqualify me? I recognize this isa unique situation, so it's been hard to find a clear answer online

I am planning to leave my firm after busy season and I am wondering if I should let them know this is my last busy season or stay quite and just give my 2 weeks after busy season? I really like the people I work with and I think I could boomerang (read to many posts of people who boomerang and I fit the "type"). Should I tell them know or just stay silent and give my 2 weeks notice?

Looking to start studying for the CPA is it worth to try to get into a Big 4 before passing? I've heard they will pay for it and give a bonus for passing.
Or stay where I am and know I'll have time to study with my current work load.

My joining date is coming closer, however education background checks are still processing ( international degrees) . My onboarding coordinator told me that I can still join even if education check is still in progress, provided there wont be any flags. I don’t see any issue with my degrees and have done same with my past companies.
Anyone experienced this ? Any problem joining while check is processing ?

Does anyone have a similar experience? I interviewed with recruiters from two of "Big 4". Both interviews went well, and I was told the recruiters will submit my resume to the partners and senior managers for the next interviews. 3 weeks later, I received the rejection letters without the next interview. I wonder why the partners even not bothered to interview me. If it matters, I am a CPA with 3 years non-PA experience and applied for experienced associate positions. I appreciate any insights.
