Sounds like a terrible company, and the fact that your boss isnt keeping you in the loop is a massive red flag. Your firm is a mess, start applying now, the job market will pick up afain after the first of the year, everyone needs analysts so be picky 🧐
Three managers within the span of 8 months? I feel like your company is unorganized. I'd feel burnt out as well.
I feel the same way. All the senior people left on my team and have to take on their workload then training people who cannot figure things out
It sounds like your feelings are a result of the environment. It's likely that you would thrive elsewhere, and you deserve that!
It's a red flag for me. There must be something really wrong with your company. Just a few more months and you can free yourself from there. It's not overthinking, that's just how it really feels.
Red flag for me. I am concerned that there is so much turnover in management. Why? No wonder you feel the way you do. I would start questioning and seriously reconsider possibly another job at this point.
Is the company in distress? If people are jumping ship on mass, it might be going down.
The company is growing and expanding. I have asked for a vision and goals of the team to which the VP of finance have provided but I still am not happy cause my boss does not talk to me or provide any feedback. I support two of the busiest team and I would love to have a manager who stands up for me and guide me. It seems like I am running my own show until something happens and all the fingers are pointed at me.
Echoing others, there's definitely something to look into as to why so many people are jumping ship. But even so, I think if you're feeling overworked - you are. I ignored the feeling for a looong time in my old job, and it was to my detriment. If you're not feeling good, RUN
I think we all felt stagnant and burn out. Take a break and ponder on it. Only you can decide whether it's time to leave or stay. I hope you're doing well, OP.
It’s too soon to feel burn out. 🥲
I'd be extremely concerned about the massive turnover at the management level. That's insane. And you can't settle down and do your job if your boss is different every other week. Honestly, if it were me, I'd have one foot out the door. That place sounds toxic.
Its probably a little of both. I mean I wouldn't say feeling that way is "normal" but feeling that way when you are burned out, which it sounds like you are, is totally normal. It sounds like you aren't loving it. I would start putting out applications and seeing what you can find.
Normally I would say you’re overthinking it and ask what you were expecting that you’re already burned after only 8 months.
But the. I read the rest of your post. That organization, or at least that group, sounds like a dumpster fire from which I would be extricating myself.
