A few days ago I was commenting this with a colleague, I feel that little by little we are turning into those people and I think it is very bad.
idk i feel like maybe we're still a LITTLE far from having space cruises where our lives are carefully dictated by a rogue AI but maybe that's just me
that's kind of the end goal tho no? make everything as convenient as possible with as little effort as possible
I definitely see your point about the WALL-E movie. I feel like we're becoming lazier and more reliant on technology, which isn't necessarily a good thing.
I don't think that using apps to get food delivered is necessarily a bad thing, but I can see how it might be seen as a bit dystopian. After all, it does kind of feel like we're living in a world where everyone is reliant on machines to do everything for them.
far as i can tell, it's still a person bringing me the food. ordering delivery is nothing new is it?
I feel kind of like that's what we're doing. We're relying on technology to do everything for us, and sometimes I worry that we're becoming too reliant on it.
but that's what we developed technology for no? to make our lives easier? should we just stop?
The convenience would be great if we were using that extra time for doing things we love. However, at least for me, it just keeps me focused on work.
