Bain & Company Bain & Company Do you have any insights into what they are expecting in the second (last) round? I saw that there are two cases and a presentation. Are they more interested in professionalism than the "analytical" skills assessed in the first round? Do you have any more insights into the presentation?
Many thanks in advance

Rising Star
I have done both and the biggest difference was patience. B2B tends to have longer cycles and more stakeholders. I do not think it is about personality as much as being comfortable with a slower process.
I would stay in B2B. The B2C industry is cooked. Every company buying the same leads so there aren’t enough to go around. Outsides sales reps driving around to people who barely know you are coming. I got out of the industry after 22 years cause it’s being ruined.
How is it being ruined?
Depends on if it’s transactional b2b or solution selling. Transactional even in B2B aren’t usually safe and are churn and burn. Most of the Telcom industry and a few others are like that. Low pay high turnover. If it’s software or something that really brings value in b2b sales your a lot safer.
