Agree with the others about using internal resources if you can. Outside of that, if you can get tradedesk academy for the programmatic piece I've heard good things.
Google academy for ads is helpful as well but there's no substitute for doing it or shadowing someone doing it.
YouTube (quick tutorials and it is a plus if you’re going for a few coding videos) Google Academy, console FAQs, and talk to your peers
Your best bet is to try and get experience in paid search and social, which will be closely related to buying programmatic across other digital channels. That way you can easily pivot from one to another.
Work for a cool brand in-house and develop 360 campaigns across all channels and leverage paid acquisition as a means to generate demand which can be captured later via SEO.... Skyscanner is hiring down in Miami as well :)
