I’ve been in finance for about 6 years, I'm looking to transition into a business analyst role paying around $120K. Does anybody have any suggestions on how to go about obtaining such a role from a consulting role? Is this a common transition? Any insight or advice would be super helpful.

What’s the salary band for a Director level for Big4 in New York? I am moving there and need to negotiate salaries

I have an offer to do some consulting for a company based out of the UK (I am in the US). The job would not go through a consulting company but would be directly with the company. I have not done any consulting before so I am not sure how it works, what I would need to set up (they mentioned that I would start a LLC and bill them directly, no idea how to do that), how to determine the tax implications of this, or what hourly rate I would expect.
