I've somehow gotten by without a degree in HR or a certification, but would like to get some more education to continue to advance my career. What are your thoughts on PHR vs SPHR vs SHRM for someone with my years of experience and current role as a manager?

You can search your 2nd level connections for that company and then ask your 1st level connections to connect you. You will probably get a better result. Honestly, I’ve had someone connect with me who wasn’t a 2nd or 3rd level and then ask me advice and then later for a referral. I was happy to discuss and then to refer them. just starting a new position in Capgemini Wherein I was hired for a client engagement manager position. After joining they are saying taht the responsibility for the position has been absorbed by existing people. So now they are confused what to do with me. How do I handle this situation?

Got a fat cat who has a timed/measured feeder. Still gaining weight. We were all stumped. Turns out my cattle dog shares her food with the cat every morning. Someone recommended a water spritz to get him away from the food. I basically soaked him for a few minutes while he stared at me and continued eating. What are the standard fees for outsourcing consultancy work?
I've been working with a newly established consultancy business. Until now I've been paid day rates or project rates.
I've been invited to lead, build and manage the HR consultancy.
What are reasonable fee structures?
1. If they source work and give it to me to complete, what is a fair percentage?
2. If I source work and complete it, what should I 'pay' them given that it's under their 'brand'?
Anybody who has felt maxed out in recruitment? What do you do? Do you try other industries first but stay in recruitment or do you try to change positions with more diversity of tasks? I now feel that everything I do is the same old, and although they say I am doing a good job, it is also a constant stress daily for applicants not showing up, failing pre-employment requirements, etc and I wonder if this is also present in other areas of HR.

Our company usually does performance evaluations in June of each year. Our pay philosophy is not clear. We usually give a COLA in January each year, somewhere around 2% and if an employee performed well, they get above the 2%. I have suggested we change our process to have a clear pay philosophy with increases tied to performance, with goals tied to overall goals of the organization. What is your process?
