I've somehow gotten by without a degree in HR or a certification, but would like to get some more education to continue to advance my career. What are your thoughts on PHR vs SPHR vs SHRM for someone with my years of experience and current role as a manager?

For those of you who post asking for referrals to other companies, please consider using your LinkedIn network. You can search your 2nd level connections for that company and then ask your 1st level connections to connect you. You will probably get a better result. Honestly, I’ve had someone connect with me who wasn’t a 2nd or 3rd level and then ask me advice and then later for a referral. I was happy to discuss and then to refer them. Also, use your college alumni network.

Looking for advice on this conversation. First negotiation attempt ever! I’ve been in my role for 1 year. Promoted in from corporate recruiting, 5 years of experience there. No degree, just hard work and dedication.
1) A raise. Currently at $65K, which is about $10K lower than the bottom of the salary range.
2) Title change. My title is Global Total Rewards Project Manager. I design and manage our TR strategy for 17 different countries, and I feel like my title is a little misleading.

My friend have cleared Tata Elxsi interview 5 months back and received her offer letter. Still now she haven’t recvd a joining letter. Couple of other friends are also facing similar issue.

Tried mailing to the HR and to their help desk. No response.
Its really disappointing. Even if they are not able to onboard candidates now, the least they can do is aknowledge and respond to the queries.

I've been working with a newly established consultancy business. Until now I've been paid day rates or project rates.
I've been invited to lead, build and manage the HR consultancy.
What are reasonable fee structures?
1. If they source work and give it to me to complete, what is a fair percentage?
2. If I source work and complete it, what should I 'pay' them given that it's under their 'brand'?

Anybody who has felt maxed out in recruitment? What do you do? Do you try other industries first but stay in recruitment or do you try to change positions with more diversity of tasks? Our company usually does performance evaluations in June of each year. Our pay philosophy is not clear. We usually give a COLA in January each year, somewhere around 2% and if an employee performed well, they get above the 2%. I have suggested we change our process to have a clear pay philosophy with increases tied to performance, with goals tied to overall goals of the organization. What is your process? Are you doing performance evals during COVID?
