I’ve been on the bench for about 3 weeks now and my utilization is going down week by week, should I be worried? How long is too long on the bench?

I’m struggling. I left an agency I liked last year due to growth limitations and since then I’ve worked at 2 different agencies and can’t seem to find my footing. I have been on bench since I joined the firm 3 months ago. Now I have got project but still on bench. I have got mail regarding not raising snapshots because I was on bench so i didn't do anything except trainings and some learning. I don't have hours to raise snapshot for.

What shall I do in this case? I am very much worried that if i don't have any project hours to show, will they fire me or what actions are supposed to be taken ? Thanks.

Which firms to meet with re lateral opportunities, which to avoid, etc. I’ve since spoken with a friend who has connections at other firms that could be a better fit. Do I bring in my recruiter or reach out through connections? Is using a recruiter beneficial to me, or am I better off on my own? How does their fee play in to what I could get as a package?

We've all been there (not just me I hope). It's so frustrating when the consulting one is a tough hill to climb. Has joining a smaller management consulting firm ever worked out for anyone?

90% utilization, great snapshots BUT no relationships with the partners in my practice + currently on beach. Everyone I've worked with is shocked. Was told there were HC quotas. Not meritocratic.
