Actual practical experience would be 100000% more valuable than a masters IMO. If you’re truly looking to learn practical HR skills, maybe look into a secondment with one of your clients? Or find a job in-house? But nobody in a firm’s hiring committee is going to significantly care about a masters in HR or organizational psych, and nobody in-house is going to care much either.
I didn't have any HR related education, but I worked in HR before becoming an attorney. Employers love my previous work experience and the context I can provide when handling cases.
I don't think a masters will help you much, unless you're going to go full time and do some internships.
