I've been working as an Account Manager for nearly a year now and I have to say, I enjoy this job more than I thought I would. How long has everyone else been an Account Manager? How do you like it so far?

How different has your career been from how you first imagined it?

As an experienced, SHRM certified HRBP , I would just like some feedback on your opinion of the differences in the roles between an HRBP an HR Manager besides the obvious that the manager should have direct reports. I am an HRBP and work in step with 3 HRM’s. They all 3 just got out of cycle raises of between 5-20% 😳 and I received nothing. I am quite aware of our HR code that salary is confidential but I was told about this. Would you be looking for other employment? Or stay?

Looking to get advice on two different job offers. I am only concerned about long term career prospects in choosing one or the other. Offer 1: warehouse manager for a beverage company. Offer 2: material distribution manager for an industrial equipment manufacturer. Again, only want input on future opportunities that each might provide. Thanks!
