I’ve had a few interviews lately where I felt like things went well with good conversation, strong rapport, they even hinted at next steps. Then… nothing. No feedback, no rejection, no follow-up. It’s messing with my head because I keep second-guessing everything I said. Is this normal now? Or am I missing something about how post-interview etiquette works these days?

As someone who has been job hunting and interviewing for the past eight months, this has become the norm. When I actually do get any kind of feedback—even if it’s a rejection—I’m shocked. I don’t even take it personally anymore because ghosting has just become standard practice.

Maybe you should post this in "Ask a Recruiter", then let us know what the recruiters tell you.

It's normal now.

Recently interviewed at Adobe, it was great. Even the senior designer I was connected with escalated it a lot. But then suddenly after the last interview, I haven’t heard in a week from them even after multiple follow ups. Recruiter said she will reach out on Monday, but even Tuesday passed now. Should I wait a week or move on for other offers?

I want to take some time off to unwind, finish some personal business, and really prepare for interviews. I would like to hear from you. Should I quit to my current manager(5th so far) or wait after mid year performance review, when a new boss will take over my team? I'm thinking on giving them 2 months notice period. By contract is 1.

Thanks

Cleared two round of interviews in EY and I got a positive response from the interview panel and indeed the senior associate from Talent Team called me and asked me,if I could join within a month and I answered that it's an obligation to serve the notice period of two month.

The Talent Team said they will get back to me and I am still waiting for their response.

Any luck or any chance that they would be releasing offer letter?

How many billable hours per week is considered at capacity? I’m getting pushback on boundaries I’m setting about additional matters and marketing work from my firm when I’ve been billing 60-75 hours per week for the last 6 weeks, and I’m still behind on my work. I feel like it’s reasonable to not kill myself further to fit in more/turn things around faster at this point, but am I being unreasonable? I expect my workload to remain at this level through the end of the year at least.
