I’ve seen lots of posts from people saying that they tested positive for Covid. Has anyone on here been hospitalized for it? Genuinely curious about when you realized you should go to the hospital or when you realized it was getting more serious.

I spent the day in the ER because I could not catch my breath but wasn’t admitted. My blood oxygen level dropped below 90% and I passed out on my way back from the kitchen. When I came to, the chest pain was severe and I could not catch my breath. I was given oxygen and stabilized enough to get sent home but was still incredibly weak and ill days after that. I was mentally begging myself to breathe.

Yes. It took about a month to recover enough to resume things like cooking and cleaning. And a couple of more weeks to feel like myself again.

Recommendations for getting back into exercising and working out? I get puffed out walking up the stairs these days. Haven’t worked out in over a year and put on some covid pounds. Food is back under control but I want to feel healthy again and less like I’m going to die walking to the corner store. I’m also so wobbly right now with no muscle definition at all. If anyone follows any programs or you tubers they would recommend, please let me know.

What’s the price of a Goyard St. Louis PM tote in the US nowadays? Saw on a couple blogs that they’re $1200 but I also see them listed for much more than that on resale so wasn’t sure if that was accurate info. Anyone else finding it very difficult to get any enjoyment out of account management these days? Any coping tips? I feel like being an account person is especially difficult in the COVID era since so much of what we do is manage communications, ensure the team is set up well etc. None of this feels particularly fun alone staring into the void of Zoom all day ... but the same pressure is still there. I feel like I spend every week counting down to the weekend which kinda sucks.

Anyone here who has been or going thru arranged marriage prospects, at what point in the course of talking/ meeting do you bring up exclusivity? I am talking to this guy for 3 months given COVID we are not able to meet, but he also seems really into me, we talk everyday and go to sleep talking to each other, but recently I think he is talking to others too and my parents also want me to talk to more guys if I can’t finalize on him. How do I handle this gracefully?

There are days I can’t wrap my head around things in our schools system. Our county will more than likely be shut down this week due to drastic increase in covid cases. We will know today. Yesterday, teachers got a harsh lecture that we were the cause that Covid was spreading in the schools (it wasn’t nice), but now sports can play when our county is shut down. I can’t make this stuff up. Our society would never survive a true plague.

Any suggestions on paid / subscription services such as CNBC Pro for investment advice / stock research for investing? I am sitting on 50% of cash in my portfolio and would like to invest over next 6 months. I know I can’t time the market but trying to be better informed for investing 400K nearly. Sold nearly half of my stocks in Covid days for 5% loss. I follow all the market news daily but I feel like I need some paid / subscription service for better guidance but not on commission basis.

I am looking to gain certification or other credentialing in diversity and inclusion, not only because it would look good on my resume both for future job-search purposes and also to become better educated in this area, which is growing in importance. I looked at SHRM's "Inclusive Workplace Culture Specialty Credential" and got a bit of "sticker shock" at the cost - $1,655.00 for members. Does anyone have other suggestions on training/credentialing in this area?

After summer, I’m due to start my career as a big law associate. And I’m scared to death. Imposter syndrome is crippling me, despite having performed very well at both Ivy League undergrad and law school, as well as the bar exam. Hi all! For an experienced hire as a Human Capital Consultant at Deloitte, what should I expect the salary/sign-on bonus to be at a MCOL city? Already did my research but the range is kind of all over the place for experienced hires so just want to have a ballpark. Thanks!
