I’ve taken both BEC and FAR before and failed with scores in the high 60s. I’m starting fresh with BAR. As I’m going though the BAR material (Becker) I feel like I have a good understanding since I’ve studied BEC and FAR before but when I get to the MC I’m really struggling. The MC just seem impossible! I’m averaging 55% correct. Anyone have any tips on how I can improve? Anyone that took BAR yet and passed using Becker, were the questions reflective of what you saw on the exam and just as hard?

Hi everyone, I work at an early stage start up that just closed our round A. I just hired a director below me, however when it was time to come up with an offer I was removed from the conversation. The CO-founders said they’d handle the actual offer amount/equity. I joined early so salary is low but I have decent equity. When I was hired, I don't recall being informed about my salary being tied to my location. My employment contract also only makes one mention of location, and says "home office" and my state. I was recently told by HR though that if I move, my comp. will be lower. Is this legal? Should I consult a labor lawyer?

Oh my god. I am finally done with the CPA. It took me 5 years and I failed so many times, lost credit, spent thousands of dollars on different study materials, coffees, pens, etc. I can’t believe this day has finally come for me. If you’re struggling please don’t give up and don’t compare yourself to someone else. It will eventually happen for you if you keep pushing!
