I'm looking to find a job like the Forward Deployed Engineer role Palantir Technologies in the UK.
I have become hooked on finding a job that involves solving the kinds of problems they presented during their interviews. Although I got to the final round my performance anxiety got the better of me (I think I wanted the job a bit too much...). I will reapply after working in a similar company.
Is it "deep tech" / "data science" or "smart enterprise" that they're doing? Any advice welcome.
Crossroads Toyota Motor Sales, USA, Inc. I have been with the organization almost 6 years and have accomplished achievement of my MSL (Masters Strategic Leadership) and LOVE the organization…BUT…I am not having any success in moving into a new position…my interviews are great experiences but it seems to be a pattern of not being selected yet encouraged to continue applying…received information from a mentor/manager to ask for candid feedback…when is enough…ENOUGH??
From where do the EY HRs procure the resumes?

You’ll be the one that got away, and the CCO will never forget you. Cut to said CCO walking aimlessly down a wind swept street, curled up in a ball in bed and stroking your LinkedIn profile pic late at night.

I’d just play it like an interview. The CCO doesn’t need your story about the other offer. And it’s always good to get face time with people like that. If it turns into an offer discussion afterwards, just tell them another agency swooped in.

Figure out what it is you want.
If it’s just the connection, tell them that upfront.
If you’d take a job there, hold your offer close to the best and see how it goes. Just know you’re in for some potential awkwardness if you’re really thinking of going after another job within days of accepting an offer.
Tell them that you do have another offer that you’re “seriously considering” on the table. This is an extremely small industry.
I once did this exact thing but didn’t mention that I had just accepted another offer, and they actually asked me about it in the conversation (CCO heard from a friend).
So just tell them that you’re excited to meet, love their work but are probably tied down.
Just tell them upfront, before the interview.
