Just had a telephone interview for a role at a boutique consulting firm which was under 10 mins, all the recruiter asked me about was my career journey and why the company. She put in 30 mins. The recruiter has said that they will create a profile of me and pitch it to the MD of the firm to get his steer on whether I can progress in the application process. What does this mean? Is this a sign I bombed the interview? Has this happened to anyone before?

I feel like my brain works like a consultant, and I would enjoy consulting, but I also looove all things finance & investing. While I don’t necessarily have extensive experience in the field (most of what I know is self taught, my major is accounting), I want to get involved in it somehow and learn more.
