Just talked to a doordash recruiter for analytics manager role which requires 6+ years work experience. They offered 108k base and 107k equity over 4 years. So that ~130k and it’s much less than what I make. The LinkedIn link says the range in Colorado is 115k-149k base. I live in a big city in Pacific Northwest which is not Seattle. Am I being low balled?

I’m back again and I’m still unsure about taking up an offer because I’m getting very anxious. It’s a fixed term contract for a year and it has a probation period of four weeks. At first I was told it was 3 months and I asked if this was company policy because I’ve never actually been given probation for a contract role. I feel like they are using me as some sort of place holder because this is ridiculous.

Considering a move from capital markets investment banking at a bulge bracket to a distribution role in PE private fundraising at a US boutique. Questioning whether this is a good move or not… Any advice or insight on this would be really helpful!
