Hi. I'm a final year btech student, and I recently got an offer from PwC India for the post of Sr. Analyst, with the package of 4.5lpa fixed + some yearly performance bonus. How should I expect me to be my career graph in pwc? Promotions, work culture, work life balance, basically any kind of insight will be appreciated.
THANKS A TON, IN ADVANCE.

Rising Star
Just from my own experience of 3 busy seasons.
First busy season was 90ish hours for about a month straight
Second was 50 hours max the whole season
Third was closer to 60
All to say, you can get the full range of intensity and will be highly team dependent. Average probably like 65 hours a week. NYC being the worst in terms of hours
Generally it’s capped at 45 hours per week
Highly disagree with one office being inherently worse than another. It is all about the staffing and interim work that has been done combined with the partner/manager group, and then adjusted for anything the client has done that year. If the job is understaffed, it's going to be bad.
We try to protect associates (it doesn't always happen) so at first I expect them to be around the 50-60 hour mark. But senior years are fair game it seems. I have pulled months were I start work at 9am and work until 5am - sleeping for 4 hours a night during the week and maybe getting 8 hours of sleep on weekends. All awake time is spent working. I have also been on jobs where as a senior I have worked 60 hours and was done the night before filing, only going in filing day to close out the file.
So much of this job is the luck of which teams you are on.
