WPP has tightened the purse strings on their agencies recently. I’m surprised they’re even hiring.
I interviewed for this role about a year ago with only 3 YOE. As long as you’re comfortable leading the execution of work relatively independently, you should be fine regardless of YOE. I got the impression that their seniors had a lot of autonomy and little oversight fwiw.
@SD 1 their strategy team as a whole seemed kind of overworked and they staff their projects globally so there’s no consistent teams. Based on my very brief interaction with them, it seems like the combo of those 2 factors leads them to give their seniors a bit more authority in making decisions about project delivery.
@BS unfortunately I don’t remember the range. I was aiming for around $110k though so it was something that would accommodate that number
I don’t know in what universe is this surprising. I started as a Sr. Strategist at 65k.
Yeah, that's wildly low
Not just Landor. salaries are falling because it’s an employer’s market.
I've noticed the same for their Strategy Director roles!
