I'm looking to find a job like the Forward Deployed Engineer role Palantir Technologies in the UK.
I have become hooked on finding a job that involves solving the kinds of problems they presented during their interviews. Although I got to the final round my performance anxiety got the better of me (I think I wanted the job a bit too much...). I will reapply after working in a similar company.
Is it "deep tech" / "data science" or "smart enterprise" that they're doing? Any advice welcome.

Just having an on-site daycare would be a godsend. They could even charge a little for it and I would be more than happy.
As a designer, I want to be an art director. IMO there should be a path I can take to become a creative (AD/CW) at work. Coaching. Work shops. Expectations. A certain amount of spec work.
I take initiative, ask advice, ask questions, ask when, work my ass off, ask for more. But I’m pidgeonholed.
Being an art director is not magic, it’s a muscle I’m willing to put the work into, but I’m silo’d.

Need to achieve pay equality & have/grow/keep diverse leaders & teams.
Favoritism.
Another vote for diversity here. Start with the recruiters and HR. They are arguably the least diverse roles in the whole agency. Once you have diversity within the ranks of people who screen candidates, things will fall into place much easier.
Strangely, women recruiters sometimes discriminate against women candidates.
Trust. Manager not allowing the team to work horizontally across the company. Feels like I'm stuck in a box that she can't see me grow out of.
Communication. The teams, in any dept, can not thrive if there is no transparency. People become frustrated when they hit roadblocks with great ideas, or solutions to agency challenges etc but don’t understand why.

Lack of structure and clear paths for upward mobility / development. The only people that ever seem to move up are people that hop agencies to do so.
