Living in California, I have a tough time getting ADHD medication. Most doctors I’ve gone to don’t believe in prescribing it, and the ones who do, I have to go 1x to an appointment to get in prescribed.

I’m wondering, is NYC the same way?

Pardon?

Once a month check-ins are pretty standard nowadays. There was a lot of over overperscribing during the pandemic, and there's a med shortage, so pharmacies are not doing multi-month recurring refills like they use to.

In illinois and michigan I have to have monthly appointments for my meds, and i’ve been on them for years now

like

There's a ADHD medication shortage going on. Tons of doctors are only prescribing 1 month of prescriptions at a time because the pharmacist will only take a 30-day request.

I’m looking to transition from an academic medical center to pharma or a biotech. I have about 8 years of clinical research experience overall — 7 years combined as a CRC (CRC I, CRC II, and senior CRC) and 1 year as a PM. I’m also recently ACRP-CP certified.

I’ve worked with many different industry-sponsors and CROs throughout the years, but many jobs I am applying to require experience at a biotech/CRO/pharma company. Would really appreciate any advice or referrals. Thanks in advance!

Has anyone had a Manager that does not work well with your ADHD? Im going through this right now and the way they communicate doesn’t match what I need. If I ask questions, they huff and puff. It’s sucks that I don’t have enough interest to continuously focus on the projects, but now I have even less motivation because I dread dealing with my manager.

Hello All - I struggle with time management. I take medication but I have no idea whether a task will take 40 mins or 4 hours. Because of this, I over commit and under deliver. Any resources to help the brain structure tasks and make better estimates? Much appreciated, thanks!
