Longest you have ever seen someone on the bench without being fired

Has anyone here ever been on the receiving end of a PIP? Ie 30 day performance review? What was your experience during that window and leading up to (hopefully) quitting to take another job or getting fired? Do people just ride it out and accept their fate and interview their tails off? Would love to hear how they were treated, what mental toll it had, and how to accept you were getting fired before you got fired? And telling coworkers?

I received an offer from PWC India with CTC 9.5L my current is 5.5L. I have another offer in pipeline from concentrix with 11L. Will PWC match my counter offer? I've been at Apple for 6 months and I'm feeling crushed by imposter syndrome. No one has fired me yet but I feel like everyone is still holding my hand. But maybe that's just how the teams work here. I don't really know how to know if it's just me.

We’ll never be in this together until we realize that layoffs cannot be the normality in this business. Yeah this is a special time. But how come we’ve accepted to have layoffs all the time even when everything was ok?

Monthly salary: 4400 (after 401k contribution)

Utilities: 160ish

Groceries: 300
