I wouldn’t jump from PWC to IBM. Lesser brand, lesser pay. I would consider the jump to Accenture AI, well respected group. But would only do the jump if it were for SM level and a substantial pay boost, which at SM it would be.
As a former IBMer, moving to AP is extremely political and IBM is notorious about bonus, definitely recommend staying away. I’m at PwC US, for referenfe
Neither offer seems great

If you can get an SM role at Accenture that would be a substantial jump, equivalent to PWC Director. I would do that, but would not jump for M.
What do you think the chances are of that? I am hoping good - the person who reached out to me is a sr principal
If you do go to Accenture do not settle for anything less than a SM or you may not be happy. And do not take a job based on a promise unless it’s in writing.
I got hired into PwC six months before SM role was being implementing and told if the role existed I would have been hired in as a SM and shouldn’t have a problem making SM when it was available. When SM went live I was too new. Only make that mistake once, get it in writing.
Congrats on being the hot ticket item. Could you fill out this pay survey? https://docs.google.com/forms/d/1Mk0AFIGpa7EmGFE3qSOWoQRJH9_Tj8fRqZbmfiziF4k/viewform
Do you have the salary data split by rank pretty pretty please?
1. Strategy and finance consulting in GBS or 2. Business development director. Both positions are “band 9”?. Comp for 1 they said would be about 165 base and upto 20% bonus. Comp for 2 was base of 130k with bonus that can take me to 200+ but not guaranteed.
Accenture has not offered me anything in writing but I was told the sr exec who reached out that I have freedom to choose the city and can even choose the area in A I can work in. We talked about strategy or digital. They said comp for both was comparable but did not say how much. Just that they will have no problem beating PwC. Have the option to stay in Canada or move to USA as well
Ping me and I can help navigate. Accenture can easily meet your TC at base, and bonus would be gravy on top (and it varies so much that I always tell people to not count on it for decisions)
I am somewhat happy at PwC. I love my coworkers and my local office but I do believe I am not being fairly compensated and I don’t enjoy the projects I work on. They are not very aligned with my interests or strengths
So I am asking for advice, opinions. Are these good offers? What is it like at Big A
Stay in Canada or go to usa. I know usa pays more
Don't jump if you're happy. Neither sound too great. I got into ACN as a SM and it's tough - sure, you're paid decently but then you're expected to work 80 hour weeks to compensate. You won't enjoy it. Happy to DM. I'm in Canada as well
So essentially ACN despite being a consulting firm would "feel like" industry, and lesser opportunities to broaden the portfolio of services/experience as is typically the case with the Big 4s
