Has anyone considered making the move to the corporate world? I work in admin for my nonprofit right now so I make a decent amount (53k) my benefits are unbeatable. PTO & sick time PLUS self care days. Flexibility. Anyone out there who left their previous job for a new one have any advice or life experience to share? I’ve been thinking about it for months but currently feel comfortable in my job/the products I work on. I’d say I have a great work/life balance but I do know that I could be making 20-30% more and have better benefits if I left. I also feel a bit stagnant in my job but the job security has kept me put. Would love to hear if leaving a comfortable job for more money is always worth it.

Got rejected from one of my desired tech companies, it's agitating but at least they didn't ghost me.

I don't like my job, the responsibilities and tasks aren't right for me or my lifestyle.

Key positives for my current employer are pay and security. But my new role within the company isn't working for me, and ultimately I don't think it is for the company either.

A much much smaller (20 people) company offered me a role.

With the global economic situation as is, is it worth the risk to change to a job I know i'd like more with less pay, and potentially less job security?

I am a Product Owner with 4+ YOE. I have been in my current role for 4 months and have continuously found that this role and company are not the right fit for me. Looking back on everything they said during the interview process it turns out that the culture, product and role are not aligning with anything we discussed. Hi all - Soliciting feedback on comp for a new role.
Last role was an engineering manager at 185k, 10% bonus, RSUs, paid healthcare.
The first offer was a bit underwhelming. I'm trying to think of creative ways to respond with a counter offer. Offer is 150k base with 10k bonus, no equity or stock, and insurance premiums are a bit expensive. Base and bonus are what I have to work with. Initial thoughts were to give a hard "no" and continue interviewing.

Can anyone recommend a white label chat tool that I can embed in my application? All the people that would be using the application would have the ability to do targeted communication to others. We'd need to basically present a button and when clicked 2 people can then talk to each other directly. You can think of it like a buyer and seller communication feature on a marketplace but real time.

Reorgs are just a part of the corporate world. If you haven’t been a part of one in your career yet, then you most likely haven’t been in the corporate workforce for very long. If you have been a part of a reorg, however, how do you personally approach it?
