Looking for recommendations on how to jump into roles that focus on paid search, social or programmatic. I've been a planner working on everything from TV, OOH, print to digital/email, however cannot get into roles that have anything related to search or social. I keep getting the "you don't have experience" I don't work for a company that allows me the ability to shadow another team/department. Any suggestions/roles? Only looking for remote.

One of the reasons I want to transition from industry to consulting (tier 1) is that I get frustrated when I have to collaborate with mediocre people. My assumption is that Tier 1 consulting firms hire really sharp people and if I can get in, I’ll be collaborating with folks on top of their game (not expecting much from clients). I’m aware there are personal aspects I need to work on like my mindset, patience etc etc, but I just get so frustrated with blatant stupidity.

I did and it's killing me because now I'm working till 2 am, but its not showing on paper. I o ly show 8 or 9 hours. But, I would rather not get yelled at from the client or director for going over budget. The budget is super tight, like 1.5 hours per workpaper and my associate already uses all of it. So nothing is left for review. Why do partners do this to us?
